Contemporary artist Jenson Anto creates work that is inspired by nature but is abstract in form. Born in 1967, Anto studied at Loyola College in Chennai before pursuing Fine Art degrees from the College of Art in New Delhi and Wimbledon College of Arts in London.

Anto’s art is reflective of his well-travelled life. His work often draws inspiration from his treks, hikes and bike rides around mountainous regions, particularly the Himalayas. His artistic process involves collecting objects found during his travels and repurposing them to create abstract installations and sculptures. He also works with acrylic and ink.

The artist lives and works in New Delhi.
